COTTON and cassava are likely to be selected as crops of focus in agriculture's strategic plan for the next financial year.
The Deputy Executive Secretary in the President's Office (Planning Commission), Mr Maduka Kessy, has said that three other crops, namely sugarcane, rice and maize, accounted for at least 25 per cent of extra food in the current financial year.
