South Africa: Mpuma Farmworkers Urged to Make Most of the Platform Parliament Affords Them

The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Labour, Ms Lumka Yengeni, has called on farmworkers in Mpumalanga to make the most of the Committee's visit to the province on the weekend.

The Committee is scheduled to host the last round of its visits to provinces where it solicits public's input into how best the national minimum wage could be implemented in the country, as per President Jacob Zuma's call in 2014 that viability of a single national minimum wage be investigated.
