XENOPHOBIA can simply be defined as a dislike of or prejudice against people from foreign countries. Of late, there have been arguments on social media about whether what is happening in South Africa is xenophobia or 'Afrophobia'.

So far six people have been killed in the new spate of xenophobic attacks in the Rainbow nation that started in KwaZulu Natal's largest city of Durban. It should be noted that those targeted in the attacks are African immigrants.
