The world has been united in the condemnation of the ongoing xenophobic attacks by South Africans against foreigners in their country, especially the brutal killings of fellow Africans and Nigerians. However, the South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Lulu Louis Mnguni in this interview with Senator Iroegbu has assured Nigerians that actions are being taken to quell the situation, while emphasising the fact that the late Nelson Mandela will not be happy with the development, and the majority of his countrymen are not xenophobic. Ambassador, the world is outraged and at a loss as to the reasons for the level of violence some of your citizens are inflicting on foreigners, especially their fellow Africans. What do you think is the cause of this rage? What are their demands?
