The former managing director of the defunct Bank PHB, Francis Atuche, yesterday asked a Lagos High Court in Ikeja not to grant an application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), seeking to adjourn ruling on a preliminary objection he filed challenging the jurisdiction of the court sine die (indefinitely).
The former bank chief had filed the application praying the court to quash the charge preferred against him by the EFCC, arguing that the state high court had no jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
