South Africa: Suspended SAA CEO Resigns

Pretoria — Suspended South African Airways (SAA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Monwabisi Kalawe has resigned with immediate effect, the national carrier confirmed on Friday.

Kalawe had filed an urgent application in the Labour Court in respect of two alleged protected disclosures and referred to arbitration before Advocate Nazeer Cassim SC was argued by the parties' legal representatives on Friday, 17 April 2015.
