As students in second cycle instructions in the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions continue to sit at home due to the government's inability to release their feeding grants, the Northern Patriots in Research and Advocacy (NORPRA) has asked Members of Parliament (MPs) from the three regions to, as a matter of urgency, devote their Common Fund to pay the feeding grants for the affected students to return to school.
Students of some 84 second cycle institutions in the affected regions were still at home when they were supposed to have been in school, since Monday, April 21, 2015.
