Maputo — The Mozambican government plans to hire 8,500 new primary school teachers this, which will reduce the number of pupils per teacher in primary education from 63 to 61.
Introducing the government's Economic and Social Plan for 2015 in the Mozambican parliament, the Assembly of the Republic, on Friday, Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosario said that this year 6.5 million pupils are being enrolled in general education.
