Mozambique: Almost Two Thirds of Budget for Priority Sectors

Maputo — The Mozambican government is allocating 63.5 per cent of public expenditure this year to the priority economic and social sectors.

The 2015 budget, introduced in the country's parliament, the Assembly of the Republic, on Friday, by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Adriano Maleiane, envisages total expenditure of 226.43 billion meticais (about 6.78 billion US dollars).
