Nigeria: PDP to Set Up Committees to Reinvent Itself

Abuja — Preparatory to playing its role as the main opposition political party in the country as from May 29, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has agreed to set up committees that would study why the party performed woefully in the just-concluded general elections and come out with measures to reinvent the party.

The National Working Committee (NWC), the National Vice Chairmen of PDP in the six geo-political zones met last Tuesday and Wednesday ‎with governors-elect, members of the National Assembly-elect of the party where it was agreed to set up a committee to study why PDP had a woeful outing.
