Nigeria: 'Akpabio Wasn't PDP Candidate for Senatorial Race'

Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akwa Ibom North West (Ikot Ekpene) Senatorial District of Akwa Ibom State, Inibehe Okori, has dropped before the tribunal a documentary evidence of more than 2,000 pages to prove that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) didn't conduct the senatorial election in the district.

Speaking in an interview in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Okori argued that INEC had no justification to present the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Godswill Akpabio with a certificate of return as the winner or Senator-elect at the March 28, 2015 senatorial race in the district.
