One of the reasons to blame for slow development in most African countries is lack of sound policies. Indeed it is hard to argue against the fact that well thought-out policies are the cornerstone of faster development.
To what extent do policies in Kenya have a bearing on development? One of the most defining characteristics of our politics is ethnicity. And in an environment where ethnic or sectarian politics trump sound policies the road to prosperity becomes quite treacherous and long.
