Good news! Our penultimate paragraph last week was a call on the Western Democracies to identify and ban from their countries those desperate politicians who caused the violence that cost so many lives during the recent elections. During this week, many newspapers carried a happy story that the United States was considering just that. In fact, for maximum effect, ThisDay of April 22 headlined its version of the same story: "America Declares Orubebe, Dokubo, Others Persona Non Grata". That will be the day!

And then to last week's last paragraph (save our usual weekly prayers): the call for advice for the incoming administration of General Muhammad Buhari. It does seem I have bitten, or chewed, more than I can swallow as I forgot to mention 'word limit'. So, in the event, the many intellectuals who have written in submitted so many words and multiples of advice as to individually claim the whole page. May I then borrow from Twitter and ask all subsequent contributions be in no more than 100 words, so others can chip in as well? For this week, allow me to use my (perhaps admittedly) flawed deductive reasoning to choose which of the multiple pieces of advice to present.
