The All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Taraba state, Mrs. Aisha Jummai Alhassan has lost her bid to become the first woman to be elected governor in Nigerian.
However, APC in the state on Monday vowed to challenge the results in court after election officials in eastern Taraba state declared Darius Dickson Ishaku of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the winner with 369,318 votes.
