Nigeria: Youths Reject Zoning in N/Assembly Leadership

Igbo youth under the umbrella of Ndi-Igbo Youth Organisation has joined the league of those agitating for a free and open process in electing the leadership of the National Assembly.

Spokesman of the group, Prince Igwe Ude-Umante in a statement in Abuja yesterday said that the desire to have national spread in the leadership arrangement which prompted zoning at the beginning of democracy in the country had since become obsolete.
