Maputo — The Mozambican parliament, the Assembly of the Republic, on Tuesday passed the second and final reading of the state budget for 2015, and also approved the government's economic and social plan for the year.
The plan and budget were both approved with the 134 deputies of the ruling Frelimo Party voting in favour while the 91 deputies from the two opposition parties, the former rebel movement Renamo and the Mozambique Democratic Movement (MDM), voted against.
