South Africa: Fifteen SAPS Mechanics, Artisans Up for Corruption and Theft

Pretoria — Fifteen SAPS employees will make their first appearance at various magistrates' court in the Eastern Cape Province today (Wednesday) following their arrest by the Hawks on Tuesday.

The 15 employees, comprising of mechanics, artisans, cleaners and general workers will face charges of corruption and theft after they were found to be stripping body parts from SAPS vehicles and selling them to members of the public.
