Francistown — Francistown South MP, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi, says the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has recorded a 5.3 per cent growth with a surplus in the 2015/16 budget.
Addressing a kgotla meeting in Block 8, Francistown, on April 27, Mr Mmolotsi said the GDP growth was a commendable factor especially after the economy meltdown. He explained that the country's foreign reserves stood at P79 billion saying the amount was enough to sustain the country's import cover for 18 months.
