Zimbabwe: Beatenberg Leave a Mark

Newcomers in South African pop music, Beatenberg lived to their top billing after they put up a splendid performance at the just ended Harare International Festival of the Arts (Hifa). The trio, who walked away with six gongs at the South Africa Music Awards held last month, gave a sterling performance on the ZOL Main Stage over the weekend much to the delight of meeting their Zimbabwean fans who were watching them play for the very first time. Their act left Matthew Field, the lead singer with no option but to thank the fans who were singing along.

"We are happy to be in Zimbabwe for the first time and most importantly Hifa 2015. You are friendly people, as a team we are surprised that we are known this far. Continue supporting our music guys," he said.
