Nigeria: Akpabio Vows to Probe Missing N76 Million Pension Fund

Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State has vowed to dig into the missing N76 million contributory pension funds of the state College of Education to ensure timely refunds to owners.

Addressing workers during the 2015 Workers' Day celebration in Uyo on Friday, Akpabio, who noted that the contributory pension funds were 80 per cent funded in other sectors of the service, promised to set up a committee to ensure that such funds, as they concern the college of education, were recovered as soon as possible.
