Algeria: UGTA Can Contribute to Preserving, Promoting National Production Tool

Algiers — President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika said Friday that the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), in collaboration with the concerned institutions, can contribute "decisively" to preserving and promoting the national production tool.

"There is absolutely no doubt that the UGTA, in collaboration with the concerned institutions, is able to contribute decisively to preserving and promoting the national production tool, made up of both state-owned and private companies, to create further wealth and jobs," the head of State said in a message addressed to Algerian workers on the occasion of the Labour Day.
