Liberia: Pay Heed to Amara Konneh's Statement

Since Former Auditor General John S. Morlu left government, perhaps no member of the current administration has been blunt and audacious as Finance and Development Planning Minister Amara Konneh. In Liberia, it is 'forbidden' most time for an official of government to criticize the system he or she is part of.

However, In Our most recent political history, few men have mustered the courage to speak against the ills of the very system they helped to build. Most time when an official of government criticizes the system that he or she is part of, that official is considered as enemy within.
