Algeria: World Day of Press Freedom - Grine Pays Tribute to Murdered Journalists

Algiers — Communication Minister Hamid Grine laid Sunday in Algiers a wreath of flowers before the monument erected in memory of journalists killed by terrorism during the black decade, on the occasion of the World Day of Press Freedom.

The minister, who was accompanied by news bodies' directors, executives of his department and journalists, observed a minute of silence and read the Fatiha of the Holy Quran in memory of the martyrs of the national duty.
