Gen Mugisha Muntu's style of leadership of the opposition FDC continues to draw criticism from party supporters.
During his current mobilization tour of the eastern Elgon Zone, some supporters accused him of trying to bring down the party. FDC party supporters led by Edward Wambede told Muntu on April 22 that his disagreements with Nathan Nandala-Mafabi, the Budadiri West MP, whom he beat in 2013 to become party president, have undermined FDC support in the region.
