Ethiopia: Nebe Warns Political Parties Violating Nation's Law

Addis Ababa — NEBE Service and Public Relations Sector Deputy Head, Wondimu Gola, told WIC that the board would take appropriate legal measures if a political party is found violating the country's law.

The country's election code of conduct for political parties prohibits legally registered political parties from involving in illegal activities and "if they are found in such activities, they would be penalized as per the law," he said.
