Nigeria: 'Next Senate President Must Emerge From a Free, Fair Process'

Kaduna — Malam Shehu Sani, a Senator-elect under the All Progressives Congress, APC, said weekend that the next Senate President must emerge from a free and fair process devoid of any sectional interest.

Sani, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Kaduna decried the acrimony generated by those contesting for the position under the APC, saying it was not in the best interest of the party.
