Umuahia — The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Tuesday expressed worry over the inability of the nation's engineers, especially the young ones, to fill the manpower needs of the telecommunications industry, which has continued to increase in leaps and bounds.
The concern was raised by the Executive Vice-chairman of NCC, Dr Eugene Juwah during the presentation of 87 ICT/telecommunications books to the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), saying that there was need to bridge the local manpower gap in the telecoms sector.
