Abakaliki — Another crisis has erupted in the Ebonyi state chapter of the All progressives Congress, as a faction led by the deputy chairman, Pastor Eze Nwachukwu, has sacked the state chairman of the party, Ben Nwobashi, for an alleged embezzlement of over N216 million meant for the party's campaigns.
The party, which has been enmeshed in a leadership tussle since its state congresses last year, also sacked Pastor Victor Elem (state Secretary); Alloy Nwibo (Treasurer); Ignatius Chima (Financial Secretary); Ernest Nwaeze (Welfare Secretary) and Anthony Eze (Assistant Secretary).
