The fourth Athletics Kenya track and field weekend meeting will be held in Kisii tomorrow and Saturday. Athletics Kenya public relations officer, Evans Bosire said preparations for the event are complete and it's all systems go.
"The county government has been working on the track for the last one week and I can confirm it is now in very good condition," he told journalists at the stadium. Bosire had earlier expressed concern over the poor state of the facility. He said a huge field of elite and local athletes are expected to grace the two-day event. "I was in Nakuru during last weekend's meeting and most elite athletes I spoke to were willing to come here and race," he said.
