THE Tanzania Livestock Keepers Association has said it is ready to support, by providing the budget, for survey and allocation of land for livestock keeping, so as to bring to an end unnecessary conflicts between the livestock keepers and farmers.
According to the Association, the livestock keeping sub-sector has not been performing as it is required as more than 90 per cent of livestock keepers lack areas for conducting their activities, thus leading to poor coordination of the sector due to their movement from one place to another searching for pasture.
