Tunisian Author Chokri Mabkhout Wins Booker 2015

Tunis — Tunisian academic and doctor Chokri Mabkhout won the international prize for Arabic fiction Booker 2015, for his novel "Ettaliani."

This distinction is the first its kind awarded to a Tunisian writer since the creation of this prize in 2007, to promote the Arabic fiction writing.
