THE Japanese government under the food security project for underprivileged farmers has provided the government of Tanzania some 7,492 metrics tonnes of Urea fertiliser worth more than 5bn/-.
Handing over the donation on Thursday in Dar es Salaam, Japanese Ambassador in Tanzania, Mr Mashaharu Yoshida, said the project aimed to improve food production especially for underprivileged farmers and its ultimate goal was to enhance food security in the country.
