Nigeria: Doctors Urge Public to Intervene in Strike

Ibadan — Striking doctors in the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan under the auspices of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) have appealed to members of the public to prevail on the management of the hospital to accede to their request for better working condition, implementation of skipping circular and stoppage of casualization of workers.

At a press conference in Ibadan recently the President of ARD, Dr. Lukman Ogunjinmi stated that rather than blaming the doctors for the ongoing strike, the management should be chastised for its unyielding posture regarding the issues confronting doctors.
