Algeria: Importance of Borders in Development, Fight Against Poverty Underlined in Meeting in Tunisia

Gasfa — "The Algerian-Tunisian borders should be a bridge for the development, partnership and fight against marginalization and poverty", underlined Monday the participants at the 9th Algerian-Tunisian workshop organized in a meeting held in the Tunisian city of Gafsa in the presence of Tebessa's Governor Mabrouk Beliouz and the governors of Gafsa, Kasserine and Touzer (Tunisia).

The authors of the recommendations and proposals of these workshops highlighted the necessity of "developing free-trade areas to relaunch the cooperation in several sectors for the populations of border regions of the two brotherly countries."
