Ethiopia: Absence of Strong Logistic Supply, Professionalism, Challenges to the Hotel Industry

The Addis Ababa Hotel Owners Association Vice Chairperson and General Manager of Intercontinental Hotel Zenawi Mesfin said that the absence of a strong logistic supply and educational institutions on hotel and tourism and attitudinal problems of hotel owners due to lack of professionalism are challenges to the emerging hotel industry of the country.

In an exclusive interview with the Ethiopian Herald, Zenawi said that here in Ethiopia most hotel developers (owners) opt to construct a hotel without leaning on the professional skills unlike in Europe and the USA.
