Angola: Huambo - Welfare Minister Hails Importance of Social Workers

Huambo — The minister of Welfare and Social Reintegration, João Baptista Kussumua, considered on Tuesday in the central Huambo province important the training of social workers for the progress of rural communities of the country, under the priorities of the sector, so as to respond to the National Plan of Training of Staff.

During a meeting with the members of the provincial government of Huambo, the minister underlined that the newly creation of the Higher Education Institute of Social Science in Luanda aims to empower the country with social workers and children educators, so as to overcome the scarcity of these professionals.
