Civil Society Organization (CSOs) in the country took to the street on Friday holding a peaceful demonstration against the sale of Malawi Savings Bank (MSB) giving government sixty days to respond, and if not President Peter Mutharika should be impeached.
After some CSO's obtained a Blantyre Court stay order stopping the immediate sell, others petitioned National Assembly Richard Msowoya. The petition was handed to the Budget and Finance Committee of Parliament Chairman Ryhno Chiphiko.
