Africa: Bombers to Camp in South Africa for All Africa Games

Five national team pugilists will pitch camp in South Africa for two-and-half weeks of special training as part of Uganda's preparations for the forthcoming All Africa Games and African Boxing Championships.

Both competitions, set for September in Congo Brazzaville and Morocco respectively, are qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. Commonwealth bronze medalists, Fazil Juma Kaggwa (light flyweight) and Mike Sekabembe (super heavyweight), team captain, Rogers Ssemitala (flyweight), Nasir Bashir (bantamweight) and Nasser Bukenya (welterweight) have been picked for the Olympic Solidarity training exchange programme, extended by South Africa's Olympic Committee to the Ugandan counterparts, UOC.
