Ghana: Propaganda Fails to Fly, As Dum-So Vigil Pulls Crowd

Contrary to predictions that the "Dum-so" Vigil will not succeed, thousands of Ghanaians, mostly young people and celebrities, poured onto the Legon-Tetteh Quashie road in Accra to register their dis-satisfaction over the acute power outages the country has been plunged into for over three years.

The turnout would best be described as the biggest crowd the country has recorded in recent times by way of demonstration. It had a representation of members of Parliament, the middle class, students, and lawyers, among others. They came out to make it clear to the government that they were not in support of the darkness they had been made to sleep in over the years.
