Tanzania: EU Injects Euro 10 Million in Cultural and Arts Centre

Arusha — CONSIDERING that Tanzania is projected to attract over 8 million international tourists per year by 2015, the European Union is investing euro 10 million in the development of a local culture, arts and traditions centre.

An official from the office of the European Union's (EU) Head of Delegation to Tanzania, Ms Alexa Du Plessis, stated here over the weekend that the World Bank predicted a surge in foreign tourists visiting the country to reach a record high by 2025 when the country was expected to start receiving over 8 million visitors each year.
