Sports competitions in five events are being organized marking the 24th anniversary of the EPRDF success in ousting the former Derg regime following a 17-year armed struggle, the Sports Commissioner Abdisa Yadeta announced on Friday.
In his words football, Volleyball, cycling, boxing and gymnastics are events that will be organized in connection to the 24th anniversary. The gymnastics competition is set to take place among students of different schools. In football Ethiopian Premier Leagues sides like St. George are in the ongoing competition.
