Mbanza Congo — Over 43.000 square metres were cleared from landmines by the Norwegian NGO People's Aid (APN) from November 2014 to April 2015 in Buela commune, Cuimba municipality, northern Zaire province.
According to a note sent on Monday by the institution to Angop in Mbanza Congo, the demining works involving two fields, namely Malele 2 and and Malele 3 that are simultaneously separated by the road leading to the dividing line between Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
