South Sudan: UNMISS Advised to Distance Itself From Biased Propaganda

Juba — The Undersecretary in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdun Terkuch has commended the existing cooperation between the government and the United Nations Mission to South Sudan UNMISS.

The Undersecretary who was speaking at a meeting with the UNMISS Chief of Staff to South Sudan Paul Egunsola, called on the UN body to distance itself from biased propaganda against the country and assured them of the Government's full cooperation in the promotion of the existing cooperation between UNMISS and South Sudan. The UNMISS Chief of Staff outlined the organization's mandate, pointing out the importance of transparency. The Undersecretary also met the German Ambassador to South Sudan David Shwalk and discussed issues of bilateral relations between Juba and Berlin.
