South Sudan: 'Help Youths to Be Creators of Jobs,' Call

Juba — The Youth Technology Development Organization which is an indigenous non-governmental organization is planning a stakeholders' conference in December under the theme "Bridging the Digital Divide".

The conference is expected to draw participants from local, regional and international development partners. In a media briefing in Juba, the Central Equatoria State Minister of Information Suba Samuel Manasseh said technology governs today's world and urged South Sudanese at all levels to embrace technology. Suba further called on both governmental and non-governmental organizations to partner with the youth to help develop technology in the country.
