South Sudan: SPLA General Headquarters Lashes Out At the Rebels for Persistently Violating the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement -

Juba — The General Headquarters of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) today issued a statement condemning rebels loyal to Dr Riek Machar Teny for Attacking Nasser in violation of the cessation of hostilities agreement.

Colonel Philip Aguer Panyang, the SPLA Spokesperson, said the rebels had attacked the area in the last two weeks and again on Sunday and Monday. He declared the SPLA had repulsed the attackers, and vowed to do the same in the face of further attacks.
