West Africa: ECOWAS Leaders Pay Vibrant Tribute to President Goodluck Jonathan

ECOWAS leaders attending the just ended 47th Ordinary Session of Heads of State and Government in the Ghanaian capital, Accra have paid a vibrant tribute to their outgoing colleague, strongman and great democrat, His Excellency President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the determination demonstrated during his tenure as Head of State and for the necessary reforms he undertook for the development of his country.

According to a Dispatch from Accra, Ghana, the special tribute was delivered by the Chair of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers and Ghana's Foreign Minister, Madam Hannah Tetteh. She expressed gratitude on behalf ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government for his outstanding contribution to deepening of integration process in West Africa and the preservation of peace and security in our region particularly in the qualities he demonstrated as the ECOWAS Authority and Chairperson of the Regional Contact Group on Guinea Bissau and Co-member in the Malian crisis.
