More than 100 workers of the G-5 group of Companies currently operating in Western Liberia are reported to have returned to work, following a two-day strike action since Monday.
The return of the workers was made possible, through the intervention of Assistant Labor Minister Prince Korvah and the authorities of Grand cape Mount County, following negotiations with the company and its workers. The intervention followed two separate communications addressed to the Labor Ministry and County Administration by the striking employees.
