Algiers — Communication Ministry summoned Wednesday the head of Reuters office in Algiers, Lamine Chikhi, to express its disapproval for the use of an "inappropriate" terminology in his dispatches on the operation of eliminating terrorists in Bouira by the forces of the People's National Army, said the ministry.
In fact, a dispatch by the Reuters news agency dated from Algiers reported the elimination of "22 militants." The same correspondent also used in his articles the term of "Islamist fighters."
