East Africa: Eminent Persons Discuss Burundi Crisis

A TEAM of eminent persons from the East African Community (EAC) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) has already arrived in Bujumbura, Burundi, to consult with different actors in the crisis-torn country, it has been confirmed.

A former Tanzanian Prime Minister, Judge (Rtd) Joseph Warioba, confirmed through a telephone interview with 'Daily News' from Bujumbura on Thursday that the team had already arrived in that country but would not go into details of its meetings.
