Kenya: Title Holders Kimilili, Moi Kamusinga in Flying Start at the Nzoia Games

NATIONAL champions Kimilili (boys) and Moi Kamusinga (girls) got off to a flying start on Day One of Nzoia regional Term 2A games at Chewoyet High School in West Pokot yesterday.

Kimilili Boys whitewashed Lodwar 49-6 to send early warning of their desire retain the regional crown. Moi Kamusinga Girls also got off to a winning start when they hammered hosts Tartar Girls 40-11. Butere Girls from Kakamega beat Shamakhokho from Vihiga 33-15 while Nabunga from Trans Nzoia beat Nasokol from West Pokot 19-4 to retain qualification hopes. Busia County champions Bishop Sulumeti Girls who finished third at the regional level last year, failed to show up despite successfully defending their county title last week. The school is closed after students went on strike.
